Yesterday, this trio of fall colors caught my eye.  Today, the green leaves have all turned to yellow…a reminder of how quickly life can change.

Fall colors reflect off still water, creating a brilliant mirror image.

Mother Nature has been hard at work atop Oregon’s Mount Ashland.  On a recent snowshoe walk around the backside we discovered what appeared to be a garden of frozen statues, sculpted by numerous winter wind and snowstorms.

 

While few leaves remain during these winter months, some splashes of color survive, creating a bright spot on a cold December day.
